Express Courier d.o.o., ASC for UPS in BiH, led by Executive Director Nihad Gračić, attended the conference titled "Standardization and Quality in Postal Services," organized by the Postal Services Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The event, held in cooperation with the German organization Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and in partnership with the Institute for Standardization of Bosnia and Herzegovina, took place in Sarajevo on September 12, 2024.

The conference brought together various stakeholders from the postal market of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as postal regulators from neighboring countries. Several projects were presented, and two panel discussions were held.

Key topics included the quality of postal services, the experiences and challenges faced by operators, and market demands. The importance of standardization as a crucial factor for ensuring consistent and high-quality customer experience was emphasized. One of the proposed conclusions was to initiate the establishment of a Technical Committee for the postal sector within the Institute for Standardization of BiH.

Given the highly dynamic and continuously growing postal market, it was concluded that changes in the regulatory framework must be more agile and aligned with technological advancements, innovations, and market development needs.

Among other recommendations, the formation of a development center within the regulator was proposed to enhance and develop the market.
